Abyssal Survival
Project Description
In Abyssal survival the increasing use of destructive power within war has caused sea levels to rise drastically and rendered the remaining dry land uninhabitable. People were thus forced to live withing the oceans in abandoned underwater caves and mines for survival. Due to high levels of radiation the flora and fauna have also mutated into aggressive creatures which stalk the depths of this water wasteland.
Project Brief
During this project we were tasked with creating a game that focused on possible fictitious or real future scenarios of a chosen current world problem. The problem we chose was a combination of global warming and the effects of war on the environment.
Role & Contribution
Within this project I took on the roles of developer, game designer and Sound Designer. My primary contributions were as follows:
Creation of enemy AI.
Designing of sound scape.
Creation of AI driven school of fish
Bug fixes
Technologies used
Unity Engine: This application was used for the creation and compiling of our game and makes use of C# as its programming language.
Git hub: This application was used for version control and collaboration on the project between me and my team member.
FL Studio: This application was used to modify or create sound assets.
